European Museum of Modern Art

Exhibiting at the MEAM, the European Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, was an extraordinary experience and an important chapter in my artistic journey. The museum, located in the heart of El Born, in Barcelona, celebrates the dialogue between contemporary expression and timeless emotion, a connection that deeply resonates with me and my work.

For this exhibition, I presented two paintings: Kaya (155 × 90 cm) and Yume (50 × 100 cm). Both pieces explore the strength and vulnerability of the feminine soul through vibrant color, texture, and gold.

Kaya represents grounding and identity. She is rooted, calm, and powerful, yet full of inner movement. Her presence speaks about origin, about knowing where we come from and how our essence expands beyond what is seen.

Yume, which means “dream” in Japanese, reflects delicacy and transformation. It is a more introspective work, soft yet intense, inspired by moments of silence and imagination. Together, these two paintings create a dialogue between reality and dream, matter and spirit, two energies that coexist in the feminine experience.
